Getting Started

What is Weddingful?

Weddingful offers the most comprehensive search for wedding vendors. Couples can narrow down their search criteria to find the exact vendor that provides their desired services. See the Vendor Tour for a quick preview. We are currently in beta and are only open for vendor signups. This summer we will launch for couples with full vendor search and helpful wedding articles.

Does it cost anything?

Listings are completely free. Sign-Up, update your Business Profile, and preview messages from qualified leads for free. You choose which messages to open, and only these require you to purchase credits.

How is Weddingful different?

Weddingful allows couples to narrow down searches by criteria and city. Examples of searches you can only do on Weddingful:
- Kosher caterers in Vancouver for a party of 150.
- Invitations providers under $300 that can custom design 50 RSVP cards and Thank You Cards.
- A contemporary Photographer in Hamilton between $3000 and $4000 with an assistant shooter and does post production/editing.

Why Should I Sign-Up?

Your business profile and listing is completely free and only takes a few minutes to complete. It will show up instantly on our system within minutes and be viewed by thousands of couples. Show what your business can do when couples are making important purchase decisions!

What is the Dashboard for?

The Dashboard is an overview of all the exciting activities for your Weddingful account. At a glance, you can see new messages, replies from couples and manage your listing and profile with just a click. There will also be useful stats about your profile and listing to help you optimize your wedding business!

Why should I upload a logo?

Stand out from the crowd by dressing up your listing with your own logo. Otherwise, a generic logo is used.

How do Credits work?

Credits are the currency of Weddingful. You will need to have credits for opening messages from couples. Credits are used up when you click a message to open it for the first time. All future communications with that couple are free for life! You can check your credit balance on your Account->My Account page and buy more credits here.

Editing your Profile

From the Profile Preview, you can see your profile as a couple would. Move your mouse over any area to edit it. The address, tagline, category criteria, description and promotions are editable from this page so you can view your changes instantly.

What are Categories? Can I list in multiple Categories?

Categories are a classification system for the type of wedding services a business provides. Photographers, Invitations, Caterers and Venues & Locations are some popular categories. Choose the category closest to what your business offers. You can classify your business in up to three categories (i.e. many Photographers also provide Videography services).

Why should I set my Service Criteria? That's a lot of checkboxes!

Setting specific criteria will help you get qualified customers looking for the exact same thing you are offering. When couples search for a specific service, our results are ranked by relevance. Your business will rank higher and more prominent than other businesses that may not provide the requested services. It will also save you time by filtering out the merely curious leads that you would not provide your services for.

What are Regions? Can I list in multiple Regions?

Regions are groupings of cities & towns that generally follow metropolitan city areas such as the Greater Toronto Area or Greater Vancouver. In the near future we will have content-rich front pages for each region featuring local vendors, articles and top ten lists.

I'm an online only business. Can I list in multiple Regions?

Yes, you can select all the regions and have your listing available for anyone searching around the world.

How do Messages work? Are these emailed?

When couples find your business and would like to get more information, they can send you a message either by a quick message box on your business profile, or through the messages section. Reply quickly before they move on to the next vendor for their wedding. When you have an incoming message, you will be notified by email from us. Set your notification preference on the Account->Email Notifications page.

How will couples find my business?

Engaged couples search for wedding vendors by criteria and location. Some couples may choose to narrow down their search by setting search criteria such as price range, party size, as well as category-specific criteria. If they are interested in a certain vendor in the listings, the couples can either 1) Save you as a match 2) View your business profile or 3) Send you a message.

How can I get higher placement in the search results?

Complete your Business Profile by setting your criteria, adding a description, providing a tagline, uploading a logo and adding photos to your gallery. You can also upgrade to a Featured Listing to guarantee your business is place at the top of search results and is highlighted to stand out.

How does my listing look? My profile?

On your Dashboard, click the "My Listings & Profile" accordion heading to see how your search listing looks. To an engaged couple, your profile will look like the Profile Preview (minus the edit options!).

Is it safe to pay with my credit card?

We use 128-bit SSL encryption and 256-bit credit card encryption. Your credit card data goes straight to Versapay, our trusted merchant account provider. You do not have to keep your credit card on file, we merely provide the option for your convenience when re-purchasing credits.

Someone else has Claimed my business listing. What do I do?

Did someone else at your company sign up with the same phone number or email? If you already has an account with us, you can reset your password. If someone else claimed your business by mistake, contact us and we'll help get it all sorted out.

I'm trying to Sign-Up and get an option to "Claim My Business". What is this?

Our team has researched far and wide for the best wedding companies out there and we launch each new city by having thousands of wedding businesses already listed. If you see an option to "Claim This Business" it's because it's already entered into our database. Simply click the Claim button and you'd be able to update all the information. Now all we ask of you is to check if that info we found is accurate, and if not, correct it on the spot and add more information to your profile and really jazz up your profile.

Where can I change my email address? My password?

Your email and password can be changed on your Account->Personal Info page.

I forgot my password/email. Help!
