About Us (Our Story)

Ten years ago while working at a wedding dress shop, founder Angel Pui heard first hand the frustrations brides have with wedding planning. This led her to create her first wedding startup, MyWeddingNotes, appearing in publications such as InStyle and The Brides Book. She is also behind the always sold out Wedding Soiree, held this past January at the Marriott Pinnacle, and last year at Stonegrill.

On a sunny day in Vancouver in 2009 (it doesn't rain ALL the time!), Angel was brainstorming how to improve on current wedding planning sites, and Weddingful was born. The idea stemmed from her dissatisfaction with wedding sites. Angel wanted to create the ideal site for what brides really need. It would be clean, simple and hassle-free, and most importantly, save couples time in their search for a perfect wedding vendor.
